VALENTINE’S NIGHT – SAT 11 FEB
As usual Beryl did us proud with a delicious dinner and the room was decorated beautifully.
The ladies were each presented with a red rose and a 5-piece band, ‘Late in the Day’ (see picture) provided the musical accompaniment.
It was a great opportunity to use the dance-floor.

At the recent Bingo Evening on the 24th, we were very lucky to have Paul Ellery from Sunshine Radio who came to be our guest caller for the evening, and what a fun filled evening we had!
Thanks to all who attended we were able to raise £374-00, and this has enabled us to donate a sum of £187 to the Ross Macmillan Cancer Support Group, who meet at the Club on a regular basis.
Our grateful thanks go to Paul for giving up his time to entertain us. Thanks also to David Christopher (Jewellers) and Beryl Downing (Club Stewardess) for donating the two main prizes and also to Laura Dobbs, for her assistance in arranging this evening. She is featured in the photo with Paul Ellery, and Geoff and Sandra Harnwell.
